Anyway - it's too bad for them because I was going to be a paying customer but they showed me they don't care about people at all -- this place is only in it for the money.

Could not be more disappointed with this place! If I could give 0 stars I would!!

Great museum. Lots to do for all ages. Seems small at first but there are activities all over. We enjoyed our visit!

Their staff is horrendous (at least the staff I encountered last Saturday afternoon at 2pm). My child and I were playing at the dover playground. The portapotties were all locked (unknown as to why) and I needed to use the restroom. The closest location was the dover children's museum (which we had hoped to go to later that week). I walked in and was rudely stopped on my way to the bathroom; I explained I just needed to use the bathroom very quickly and that's why I didn't have a ticket. A mean woman with a fake smile that broke down as soon as I opened my mouth then insisted that the bathrooms were were paying customers only, sir!

The dragon lady wouldn't budge. So I had to buy a $10 ticket to their museum in order to use their restroom for 3 minutes. It was outrageous! No pity from anyone. There were three ladies there - all were complicit in the injustice and flagrant unmerciful behavior. My thoughts harkened back to history class where the "good Germans" were complicit and went along in nazi barbaric behavior because "it was policy." Well, there is a devout anti-bathroom-policy-for-the-needy in place here. And as a museum their staff should be more in tune with the lessons of history!

Good spot on the seacoast to take young kids on a rainy day.

I said I would just be in and out.

I and my family will NEVER go back to this place. And I will spread the word to everyone I know to stay away as well. Rude staff and inhuman bathroom polices. I am lucky I'm blessed enough to have the money to afford use of a bathroom here; some people don't have $10 to throw literally down the toilet.

I explained I needed to go...really badly.

They make great use of a small space. There's something for most ages here. My 1 yr old loved the primary room. There were plenty of things to crawl through and play with.

Great place for kids 1 year and up! Plan for a few hours and tons of running around. Best to leave the strollers in the car. Great toy store across the street!

Very disappointed in Dover Children's Museum! Shame.
